NYT: SBC Switch Rule Found Unlawful:
"A policy of SBC Communications that prevents its customers from switching their local phone service while keeping their SBC high-speed Internet connection has been ruled unlawful by a state regulatory judge.

The ruling on Wednesday stemmed from a complaint made by Telscape Communications, which contended that SBC would not process requests to switch its customers to Telscape if they subscribed to SBC's digital subscriber line service, which gives them access to the Internet."
