Netnewswire

I screwed up and over-wrote my saved feed preference in the essential software: Netnewswire. I know there is a way to restore my preference. I'll post it when I figure it out.

NetNewsWire: More news, less junk. Faster

Assuming you're using NetNewsWire 2.0 beta, you can restore your subscriptions list from a back. (It makes backups.)

Here's how:

1. Quit NetNewsWire if it's running.

2. Go to your ~/Library/Application Support/NetNewsWire/ folder. Put Subscriptions.plist in the trash.

3. Open the Backups folder and choose a file from before the list got messed up. Copy the file to your Desktop and rename the file Subscriptions.plist

4. Drag that file you just copied and renamed into your ~/Library/Application Support/NetNewsWire/ folder.

5. Launch NetNewsWire. All should be back to normal.

excellent. I'll try that. Thanks for the help.
