More snapshots from Ketchikan, Alaska. Sorry Aunt P.
Spectators in Ketchikan

They happily barked at passersby. My Aunt P and I took a wrong turn, and ended up in the 'wrong' part of Ketchikan - the part the tourists never go. Lots of industrial tools, canneries, hatcheries, fisheries and other monuments to the mighty salmon's financial might.
Fishy Fishy Fish

Homage to the mighty salmon.
Tourist Trolley Ketchikan

I didn't ride one of these contraptions, but they were everywhere, and always an Alaskan Husky rode with the driver.
City of Ketchikan Vehicle

not all municipalities have the financial wherewithal to afford Land Rovers for employees.
There's No Ho Like Coho

a T-shirt I should have bought.
Federal Building 1936

Not the most typical color for a federal building.
Henry Morgenthau 1936

At the edge of downtown
Mabuhay DJ Grocery

in downtown. I hazard a guess the grocery store was supported by crew members of the various cruise ships - ours for instance, was staffed probably 90 percent by Indonesians and Filipinos.
Tatsuda IGA

grocery store in Ketchikan, Alaska. Went in with Aunt P, but didn't take any photos inside. The only unusual thing I noticed was how many cans of salmon were available, at various price points.
