Chicago tourist agenda

Top of the mind suggestions for (summer) tourists coming to Chicago would include, in no particular order:

Oak Park Beach
Top o' the 'Cock
Haymarket Riot Plaque
Wicker Park and Bucktown pub crawl
Cubs or White Sox
Fireworks at Navy Pier
2nd City or Second City etc
Grant Park & Museum Campus, including Art Institute of Chicago, Buckingham Fountain
Miniature Golf at Diversey Harbor or East Monroe
Water Taxi and Architecture Tour
Canoe or Kayak Chicago River
Wells St. / River City pedal boats or gondola
Chicago Botanic Garden
Rogers Park Beach
Japonais Lounge in the early morning
Rush Street
Thursday's Farmers Market outside of Marche on Randolph
Garfield Conservatory
Bowling at Southport Lanes
Devon Avenue
Mr. Beef or Wieners Circle on Clark St.
Jazz at the Aquarium
Eastbank for a workout
Twisted Spoke
Wishbone for brunch
Chinatown
Joy Yee on Halsted or in Evanston
Tour of the North Shore, including Highland Park, along Sheridan Road
Greek Town

Feel free to include more in comments. I'll probably add more later, but this would occupy a few days of your time. Most of these things are year round attractions, but some only are fun/available in the summer. If you have unlimited funds, there would be several additions to this list, but the ones linked here are all reasonably priced.
